Contract for Supply of the Forging Press to China

The CKV 45/50 forging press and the ingot bogie are parts of a new forging „Unit“ to be built in the above-mentioned Chinese company. The supply is a joint project of the companies ŽĎAS, a.s. and TS Plzeň a.s. The responsible officers and specialists of both companies will be, therefore, required to co-operate closely.  The company ŽĎAS will produce the ingot bogie and will simultaneously be the general contractor responsible for total coordination of the project as to the commercial aspect.  The open-die forging press will be produced by TS Plzeň, a.s., a subsidiary that will simultaneously ensure the supply as to the technical aspect.

The closing negotiation was held in China in presence of ŽĎAS representatives, Miroslav Šabart, managing director and vicechairman of the Board, and Stanislav Hrdina, commercial director. The company TS Plzeň was represented here by Milan Jirásko, technical director. Coordination in the course of difficult commercial and technical negotiations was in charge of Mr. Li, representative of ŽĎAS company in China.

The long-term effort of ŽĎAS Sales department to obtain this very important reference shop order for China was crowded with success by signing the contract. We believe that successful execution of this project will open up the doors to us for future similar projects realized on the Chinese market being currently of crucial importance.
