The joint stock company ŽĎAS based in the town Žďár nad Sázavou commenced their production more than 60 years ago. At present, the company has about 3000 employees and the production volume for 2007 amounts to approx. 150 millions of Euro. ŽĎAS belongs in the Železiarne Podbrezová Group, the leader of which is the important world producer of tubes ŽP a.s. Podbrezová, Slovak Republic.

Manufacturing program of the company ŽĎAS is focused on production of forming machines, forging presses, metal scrap processing equipment, rolled product processing equipment, castings, forgings, ingots and tooling, especially for the automotive industry.

The company has got highly qualified production and technical personnel, modern production and development base and important international references in all production branches. The company holds the international certificates in accordance with the standards EN ISO 9001:2008, EN ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007.
